Punxsutawney Phil is my pal

There is still ice on everything here. The school districts in the Metroplex will be closed for a 3rd day in a row.

I've done all the laundry. I've cleaned as much of the house as I care to clean. I've cooked tortilla soup and chili and enjoyed warm apple cinnamon oatmeal. I've watched the Kardashians, Tosh.0, Greys Anatomy, Oprah, The Real Housewives of Everywhere. I've worked several hours from home. That's it. That's all I've got up my sleeve.

As Punxsutawney Phil basically said today as he crawled out of an icy hole this morning, "Let there be Spring. Let it be fast." And the people cheered joyfully.

I just wanna ride my bike.

I'm glad Geoff will be home tonight.
