I'm a little slow to Blog again....

I have never really jammed out to Willie, but I appreciate him and his music very much. I love that he did a pilot episode for Austin City Limits. And why wouldn't he? He's the poster child for something like ACL the TV show.

I told my family recently that I love that we watched Austin City Limits every weekend (Sunday nights I believe) when i was a kid. I remember not enjoying it very much....especially because we had often watched several hours of cooking shows and home improvement shows the entire afternoon preceding that. But the experience of being surrounded by music on a regular basis including Sunday mornings when my dad would pick an LP or CD out of the collection and listen to it all the way through, has benefited me more than anything else in my life.

My father replied back to my recent email, "Life is richer with a developed taste in music." I can not find a single thing wrong with or to contradict that statement. I thank my parents so much for helping enriching my life in ways that I can infinitely enjoy now.

I shall spend the rest of my life exploring the joys of music and what it brings to humanity.
